It is a sad
time of the semester. Exams are creeping
up on us and no more league games until the next semester. Fear not though, there is more disc to look
forward to in the near future and it is the perfect post exam stress relief. The NQ Hat tournament is coming to Cairns June
21-22.
What is a
Hat tournament you might ask? A Hat
tournament is where people register as individuals and are placed on a random
team for the duration of the tournament.
What skill
level is a Hat tournament for? That is
the beauty of these types of tournaments.
They are for EVERYONE. From
beginner to Nationals MVP, all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to come out
(for proper effect, please say this last word the proper Canadian way). The teams will be balanced with players from
all skill levels and plenty of fun will be had by all. This is the perfect opportunity for people to
experience their first Ultimate tournament.
Need more reasons
to go to NQ Hat? Have you ever been to
an Ultimate party here in Townsville?
Well the tournament party will be that x10. There really are no words to describe the
awesomeness this night will bring.
Did we
mention it was being played near Cairns?
One of the top tourist destinations Australia has to offer. Make a full weekend out of the trip and see
some of the marvelous sites that Cairns has to offer.
Is
transportation to and from Cairns holding you up? No need to worry, we will have plenty of cars
from Townsville making the trip. Just
ask around and we will find a way to get you there and back safely.
