Finals Night Preview

The night has come at last, a night of fun, frivolity, fierce heckling and a finite fury for four teams to come out on top.

In one corner stands the stealthy Ginger Ninjas, sporting a mix of agility, speed and absolute danger with a disc, in the other corner, the Lairy Canaries; calm, collected and not lacking in height, ready to do battle to see who will come out on top of this 3rd/ 4th match up. The game is sure to be fast paced and electric as these two teams clash heads and discs in a battle to the end. Predictions could be made but would likely be wrong especially when Hugh brings his hucking magic and Ash his fight-from-behind fury to the field on this Wednesday night, either way this is going to be a game to watch.

But the ultimate (pun intended) battle taking place tonight is between two highly anticipated teams who truly have lead the field this season, without further ado;

In the red corner, standing at little under 6ft but not lacking in leadership or commitment departments stand the Hyper-Masculine Feminists.
The HMF have a lot to prove this final game of the season, they were a slow starter but have definitely claimed top two spot for most of the season. A team of social misfits, with long range runner and receivers like Ray "Pedo Mo" Brigade & Sean "Legs like Lightening" Beveridge, an eager group of boys and girls who don't care who they crush on their way to victory and their mid season addition and final season player Simon "Bottoms Up" Urquhart.
Expect smart plays from these guys as they go blow for blow, point for point with their cunning and eager to prove opponents.

In the tye dyed corner, sporting funky shirts, belligerent attitudes, cunning in disc play and feisty when it comes to their ultimate goal stand the ever present Tytans.
The Tytans have been a force to be reckoned with all season, punishing teams left, right and centre who over-compensate for their speed, smarts or massive jumps for that flying piece of plastic. Led by local socialite Dave "Party Animal" DeHollander, this group of energetic and eager animals are one step away from utter victory, sporting a excellent win/ loss record and supported by a pack like Carlos "Tooth Destroyer" Castro, Justin "Jumps" Bowers, the finesse of Sammy "Cut Throat" Jones and their motley crew, this team is going to be hard to outsmart this finals night. This is a team who don't like to lose and will be sure to push the HMF to their limits for every point of the night.
