Week one of the 2012 Townsville Ultimate Frisbee Final Series kicked off last Wednesday night with the last double game night of the season!
With 2 rounds of finals to play to determine the final combatants all the players were ready for a competitive night of Ultimate!
In the first round of the finals we had the following matches played.

Pink Stink (3) vs More Smarter Than You (8)
Red Imperium (4) vs Zulu Zebras (7)

After seeing Black Mambas and Blue Blizzard keep up their winning ways and earning a trip to the semi finals the other 8 teams had to battle out their second game of the night. 4 teams fighting to stay in the race for the Townsville Ultimate Championships and the other 4 teams fighting to avoid the dreaded wooden spoon!
